Extracting the burnt gases

For wood burning fires, the smoke must be extracted vertically through a chimney. Gas fires however have many more options. By using an externally mounted fan, the fumes can be extracted through an outside wall or even via a chimney system that runs underground. The fan can be mounted in sight or even in a concealed location so that it is virtually invisible. There are many different possibilities and solutions dependant on the situation.
